Not at this time, but that may change in the future.
  • Where are you located?
I am located in Columbus, Ohio and licensed to provide services throughout the State of Ohio and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
  • What can I expect in my first appointment?
The first session involves a review of the intake paperwork to make sure you understand what is involved in the therapy process. Then I will conduct a comprehensive assessment to get a full picture of you and your current struggles. Once this is complete, we will collaborate on developing a Treatment Plan that supports you in reaching your goals for therapy. Then we get to work!
  • How does online therapy work?
You must be physically located in the State of Ohio or USVI at the time of the session. You will need a private space with good internet connection. I will provide you with a link to join our secure videoconference session. It will not be recorded.
  • What therapeutic modalities do you use?
I use a variety of evidence-based and holistic modalities, including approaches that focus on the relationships between thinking, feeling, and behaving, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and the principles of Nonviolent Communication. I also utilize a variety of experiential processes which focus on healing the wounded inner "parts" and related subconscious, sabotaging behaviors including Internal Family Systems Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Coherence Therapy. Finally, I utilize spiritual principles, mindfulness practices, and education.
  • How long do I need to be in therapy for?
That depends on you. Everyone is unique with different personalities, life experiences, beliefs, and struggles. Some people dive in and work hard to reach their goals. Others take longer. We will frequently evaluate your progress to determine if we need to make adjustments to our approach. It is important that you provide honest feedback about what is helpful and what is not so we can collaborate on making any necessary changes that will save time, energy, and money.
